Creating a Triple Win for Your Innovative Ideas: A Framework for Strategic and Business Planning
·

This is an activity-based workshop featuring Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Strategy experts, Linda Miller & Brendon Ardieta. Participants will gain experience with articulating innovative ideas as a “triple win” in healthcare: value for patients, clinicians/researchers, and financers (e.g. CHOP, grant funders, VCs). Articulating a “triple win” is foundational for developing both strategic and business plans and a key communication tool for any innovative venture, from expanding operations to new clinical programs to research proposals to startup company.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain a “triple win” and how it can strengthen strategic, business, and other proposals to help their ideas gain traction

  2. List key questions for elucidating their idea’s financial value across the spectrum, from operations to research to startups

  3. Describe resources available to the CHOP community for further developing a business plan as part of strategic planning for their idea, such as interactive e-book Academic Entrepreneurship for Medical and Health Scientists

Event took place on February 22, 2022 at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
